A matter of the heart –
The LAB seizes the opportunity to combine the tradition and modernity of Lusatia and create a new tranfer of science, handcrafts, and the Lusatian identity. As a Lusatian, it is a matter close to my heart to strengthen existing structures and to jointly develop new standards that are valid worldwide.
Franziska Stölzel – Expert for change an transformation processes
Franziska Stölzel is a social scientist for change and transformation processes. Her interests include climate and gender justice and the socially acceptable coal phase-out in economically weak regions. She is also researching the global applicability of Lausatia as a model region. At the United Nations University, she is establishing a branch office in Weißwasser, which deals with resource management and the sustainability goals in coal regions.
